Jackie Falconer BSc (Hons)RD

Jackie qualified as a State Registered Dietitian in 1991 from Kings College London. She has worked in clinical dietetics since 1992, specialising in paediatrics in 1995. For the past 25 years she has worked in paediatric gastroenterology at the Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust and her areas of interest are Short Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel disease, Non IgE mediated Food Allergy, Eosinophilic conditions, Coeliac disease, Gastro-oesophageal reflux, and associated feeding difficulties.

 

Alongside her clinical NHS commitments, she  has a private clinic once a week for infants, children, and adolescents up to the age of 16 years.

 

Jackie served as the AHP (Allied health professionals) representative on the European Society of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) t2013-2017 followed by chair of the Allied Health Professionals from 2018-2021. She has been part of the faculty for the AHP summer schools in Croatia, 2017, Valencia 2018, Oxford 2019, and Lisbon 2022. She has been active in formulating policies and guidelines for infants, children, and adolescents with GI conditions across Europe. Jackie  continues to be an active member of ESPGHAN.

 

She has spoken both nationally and internationally on subjects including Cow’s Milk Allergy, Gastro–oesophageal Reflux, Eosinophilic Oesophagitis and Crohn’s Disease.

 

Jackie collaborates closely with leading Paediatric gastroenterologists and other Allied health professionals.
